Shilpa Shetty ends the Racist controversy at the Big Brother - well she won. Yes, Shilpa has been crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2007 after polling 67% of the final vote.
Shilpa’s devotion to feeding the housemates didn’t quite win her unanimous support, as Danielle, Jade and Jo debated the health and safety of her chicken. And then came the great stock cube argument - Racism at the Big Brother’s House. But Shilpa managed to sail through stormy waters with her head held high and her over sized sunglasses firmly secured. Apologies and cider were soon heaped upon her and her infectious laughter was regularly heard bouncing off the walls of the House. Her time in the House was definitely full of emotion and incident, and she has won over a legion of new fans.
Jo O’Meara, Danielle Lloyd and Jade Goody, were accused of bullying Shetty and making racist remarks towards her. Her victory which will be seen as a triumph for racial equality, beat 13 other contestants. There is no special prize for the winner but all participants get a fee, and Shipa Shetty is reported to have got anything between £200,000 to £300,000.
Shilpa offered Sitcom
As an aftermath, it is rumored that she has been offered the chance to star in a new TV comedy about an Indian call centre. The show has been written by British comedy star SANJEEV BHASKAR. After watching Shetty’s antics in UK reality show CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER, he is desperate to write her a role. Bhaskar - the star of THE KUMARS AT NO. 42 - says, “She would be perfect for the show. If she is keen, I will write her a part.”

She has been offered a Hollywood film by Fox pictures, a book deal, endorsements for clothes, cosmetics and jewelry, a TV documentary, the position of host of a cricket reality show and an awards ceremony, and an exclusive interview with The Sun tabloid fetching her £ 100,000.
